JOIN THE FIELD
You're in the right place if:
ā You have a really sensitive horse, and you would love to be able to help them feel more relaxed in different environments
ā Your horse is quite unresponsive and shut down, and you want to help them open up and feel comfortable again
ā You've done the courses, tried the methods andĀ had the lessonsĀ - and you're ready for the layer that goes deeper than technique
ā You want to enjoy groundwork and riding again, without freezing, overthinking or second-guessing yourself
ā Your horse struggles in new or unpredictable environments, and you want to feel confident supporting them anywhere
ā You're tired of guessing and want a clear, compassionate, step-by-step plan that actually works
ā You want to feel safe, confident and connected with your horse in any environment
ā You sense that what's happening inside you may be connected to what's happening with your horse - and you're ready to explore that
If one or ALL of these resonate with you...
TheĀ FieldĀ was made for you.
āOver the three decades Iāve had horses, Iāve read probably hundreds of training books, attended lots of clinics, and taken a ton of online classes, but no trainer or technique has made me feel as comfortable as this one.
Iām not sure I can express how peaceful it is to stand next to a horse that is simply in the moment. So if you see me standing around doing nothing while my horse stands around doing nothing, know that I am exactly where I want to be.ā
- Gail
This is what changed when they found the missing piece.
"The biggest change was Ross (4 yrs old) standing at the gate to do fun stuff and coming to me when on the grass instead of running away."
"I can trailer load Pippy and Phalco with just pointing to the entrance, all alone.Ā Phalco used to stand totally shut down for 1 to 2 hours in front of the thing not moving anything in his whole body."
"My (relationship) bank account is like exploding haha. I go out trail riding with Pippy andĀ she doesnāt even want to return home because she enjoys it so much."
"I have progressed much more than I ever even thought was possible.Ā And importantly, this change in me is making the world of a difference in them and my partner."
Carola, from the Netherlands
"Omg he goes forward without any issues now.Ā At this new place I nudge or just cluck and he goes into trot!"
"We went on our first real hack today and 6 months ago I would haveĀ been terrified because of the mixed terrain and I had absolutely zero fear today.
King was such a champion and while the other horses had a few spooks here and there he didnāt spook at all!!"Ā
Natalia, from the US
"Moose and I are able to enjoy peaceful moments together.Ā He is less reactive, less stressed, I can brush him all over and he doesn't react like he used to. I look forward to seeing him now."
"We did it, Moose and I took our first real trail ride this summer and it was relaxed, happy, less than perfect but perfect because of that!
He was so calm and I was able to drop into my body and connect with him (sort of felt like in Avatar when they connect their braids to their animal). It was weird for both of us at first but I could tell it felt good for both of us. Yayay!! Ā
Thank you for everything you've taught me and all of the encouragement. He and I have come so far and I'm very grateful."

TheĀ Plan
Five modules. Each one building on the last, with space for intuitive flow. Practical horsemanship woven together with the inner work that makes it all possible.Ā
Module 1: Calibrating Your Field
Learn how your horseās brain and nervous system work, how to recognise early signs of tension, and how to support them before things escalate. Youāll also explore your own internal environment and discover how your energy, emotions and patterns influence your horse.
Explore:
ā Reading your horseās emotional cues
ā Nervous system regulation (yours + theirs)
ā Creating emotional and physical safety
ā Supporting reactive moments with clarity
ā Building the relaxation that prevents reactivity
This module sets you both up to feel calmer, safer and more connected.
Module 2:Ā The Principles
Strengthen your relationship by understanding how horses learn and how to teach behaviours in ways that feel ethical, clear and motivating. Youāll refine your communication, incorporate food rewards in a balanced way (that aligns with you), and build confidence through gentle exposure training.
Explore:
ā The horseāhuman relationship
ā Motivation + shaping
ā Refining communication (with lightness + clarity)
ā Introducing exposure trainingĀ gently
ā A simple problem-solving framework
These principles make training clearer, easier and more enjoyable for both of you.
Module 3:Ā Lessons In The Field
This is where everything comes alive through four key learning phases. Youāll implement what youāre learning with your horse and build skills that create real-world confidence.
Connection
Youāll explore connection-based groundwork exercises that help sensitive horses relax, shut-down horses open up, and confident horses soften even further. Youāll also experience what it feels like to drop even more deeply into your own body.
Positive Reinforcement Tools
From there, youāll explore different ways of working with food rewards and how to weave them into your training in a way that feels good for both you and your horse. And if you have a very food-motivated horse or any hesitations about using food rewards - donāt worry, Iāve got you covered too.
Groundwork
Next, youāll teach your horse foundational groundwork patterns that will refine your communication and allow you to feel more in sync together. These exercises set horses of any age up for success from the ground up - and theyāll support you to take your riding to the next level (whether you ride now or choose to in the future).
Exposure Training
And lastly, youāll empower both yourself and your horse through consent-based exposure training that honours each of your emotions. Youāll gently introduce your horse to new things approaching them, touching them, moving around them, and making noise - first on the ground and then under saddle (if or when you ride). Youāll learn how to relax through moments of tension and systematically increase environmental pressure over time, setting you both up for success with anything, in any environment.
By the end of this module, your horse will feel more confident, more relaxed, and easier to support - at home AND away from home.
Module 4:Ā Inner Alchemy
This module supports your inner world - the part of horsemanship that shapes everything. Youāll gently work through fear, avoidance, perfectionism and the emotional patterns that hold you back, so you can return to clarity, confidence and compassion.
Explore:
ā Fear + avoidance
ā Compassionate horsemanship overwhelm
ā Perfection vs. imperfection
āĀ Navigating transition and change
ā Returning to your body + truth
This is where you rebuild self-trust and step into grounded partnership.
ModuleĀ 5: Playing In The Field
A space to integrate your growth, reconnect with joy and expand whatās possible for you and your horse. This is where you come to honour your alignment, celebrate your progress and hold the highest vision for your partnership.
Explore:
ā Alignment + joy
ā Motivation + momentum
ā Gratitude + possibility
ā Celebrating growth
ā The ripple effect of your journey
This module is your reminder that horsemanship can feel expansive, empowering and deeply rewarding.
Hereās what becomes possible when you and your horse both feel safe, confident andĀ empowered.
āHoly wow. The session I had today was absolutely magical. I felt an overwhelming connection with him and then I was deeply moved to forgiveness. Just a few weeks ago I was thinking I should sell my horse because we hadnāt made any progress in the last twelve months. Everything feels different now.ā
- Emma, from Canada
āIāve been doing horsemanship methods for almost 6 years but just having the space to refine and really get a why to what Iām doing makes so many things just click. It gives me that confidence of āI know what Iām doingā and if I donāt I actually have the tools to figure it out along the way.ā
- Tracey, from Australia
āI went in wanting to increase my toolkit to help a really cold backed young mare of mine, but the benefits to all my horses is almost unbelievable. This is not just a course for people who donāt feel confident around their horses - itās a course for absolutely anyone who wants to set themselves up with a skill set that will last for life.ā
- Sarah, from Australia

Meet Your Mentor
Hi, I'm Felicity :) I created The Field for one simple reason: I know how it feels to be you.Ā
I know how it feels to love your horse but know deep down that you bothĀ aren't happy - I was once a struggling rider with big dreams, a nervousĀ horse, inconsistent rides, zero groundwork abilities and no clear strategyĀ to help either of us feel more confident and relaxed.
Iād been around horses for years, but I quickly learned a massive lesson:Ā you can have all the lessons in the world... but unless you know how toĀ set yourself and your horse up for success from the ground up, itās veryĀ difficult to have the happy, consistent, and trusting relationship youĀ both deserve.
So I set off on a mission to learn everything I could about this in an effortĀ to transform my relationship with my horses...
In my search to master this, I was able to cultivate incredible connectionsĀ with my horses, consistently support sensitive horses to feel moreĀ relaxed, help shut down horses open up and elevate confidence levels -Ā all within a short period of time.
People kept asking how they could experience the same transformations with their own horses... so I put together a program to teach my signature methodology in a grounded, compassionate, intuitive way. Over the past six years that's grown into something that has reached more than 1,200 horses and humans around the world - and evolved into The Field.
The Field is an incredible mentorship experience designed to give you the practical skills, the understanding, and the deeper support you need at every stage of your compassionate horsemanship journey.
See you in there,
Felicity x
You have shown up for your horse again and again.
You've tried different approaches, invested in support, held onto hope, and kept going even when the results didn't match the effort you were putting in.
Your dedication is real, and it deserves a space that honours it.
The trail rides you're dreaming of.
The moment your horse walks to you across the paddock.
The feeling of genuine ease between you.
Those things aren't out of reach.
They're what becomes possible when you understand what's really been keeping you and your horse stuck, and begin approaching it differently.
The Field is a space to support that journey.
