If you've ever had a quiet (or loud) knowing about your horse that turned out to be exactly right, you're already communicating with animals.

That's the thing I want you to really hear before anything else.

Every time you sense they want a drink before they tell you. Every time you choose a different piece of tack and it just feels right. Every time something comes through that you immediately try to explain away as a coincidence or your imagination. That is you receiving energetic messages. That is animal communication.

And if part of you is saying, maybe I'm making it up, I want to ask you something. What harm is it doing to believe that it's also coming from your animal? And if it's validated on the other side, if you follow through and it turns out to be exactly right, over and over again, even with the simplest things, how could you say you're just making it up?

There are deeper threads happening underneath the surface all the time. And when you wake up to the magic that you're already in communion with, everything starts to shift.

You're More Intuitive Than You Realise

If you've found your way to this podcast, to this content, to this work, I want to say something directly to you: you are incredibly intuitive, whether you resonate with that word yet or not.

You likely experience your connection with your horse through multiple channels. Maybe it's through your hands, through bodywork, through feeling where they need attention. Maybe you love being in flow, whether that's through art, movement, dance, writing, or just the particular kind of presence that spending time with your horse gives you. Maybe you already have a meditation or breathwork practice. Maybe your horse is simply the place where your heart opens and your mind quiets.

All of these spaces invite you into a form of deep presence. All of them allow you to connect with your intuition and receive insights that don't come from the mind, but from your body, from your felt sense, from the space between you and your animal.

You are already in that space. The question is simply - how much further do you want to go?

What Animal Communication Actually Looks Like

One of the things that stops so many women from exploring this more deeply is the idea they have in their heads of what animal communication should look like. Clear images. Movies playing out in the mind. Hearing words or conversations.

That's one way it can come through. It's not the only way.

Messages arrive in so many different forms. A knowing. A felt sense in the body. An emotion that doesn't quite belong to you. A word, a colour, a symbol that makes no immediate logical sense. An image that flickers in and out. A simple sense of yes or no that arrives before your mind has had a chance to weigh in.

Your way of receiving is not wrong because it doesn't look like someone else's. Your way of receiving is yours. And discovering what that actually is, trusting it, expanding it, that is the whole journey.

What I love about working with clients on this is guiding them into their own unique intuitive language. Not teaching them a technique to replicate, but helping them recognise what's already coming through and giving it the permission and the space to come through more clearly.

The Animals Are Already Talking

Here is something that changed everything for me when I finally understood it.

Animals communicate in so many different ways. There is verbal communication, physical communication, touch, energetic communication, spatial communication. We already engage with most of these in our everyday horsemanship without naming them as animal communication at all.

Going deeper into the energetic channel, learning to receive and convey what comes through that way, is really just an extension of what you're already doing. It's not a leap into something foreign. It's a deepening of something familiar.

And once you begin to really trust what comes through, you can ask your horse so much more. What do they like and what don't they like. What's their perspective on different situations. What would they advise you to do. What are they guiding you toward on your own journey. What are they here to teach you.

These conversations are available. I've witnessed them again and again with clients. And every single time, there is this moment of recognition. This is real. This is happening. I can do this.

That moment is a homecoming.

The Ripple Effect Nobody Talks About

What I want to share with you, because I don't think it gets spoken about enough, is what happens on the other side of following this curiosity.

You might think you're just going on a journey to deepen your connection with your horse. And you are. And the things that come through in that process are next level incredible.

But an extraordinary byproduct of going on an animal communication journey is that your self-trust has to expand. Because you learn to trust the messages that come through for you. And that trust doesn't stay contained to your relationship with your animals. It ripples out into every area of your life.

Your presence deepens. Your emotional and body-based awareness expands. You start understanding your own energy in a way you never have before. You stop second-guessing every signal you receive. You learn to stay in your own lane, inspired by others but not swayed by them.

You start to recognise that you're receiving guidance all the time, from multiple channels, and you can trust it. And from there, your next steps naturally arise. Not from a place of overwhelm or FOMO or constantly seeking the next thing, but from a place of feeling centred within yourself and connected with your animals and the world around you.

When you witness someone doing that, being completely and unapologetically themselves, leading from within rather than being driven by external forces, it is magnetic. It is alluring. And do you know who naturally lives in that state already?

Your horse.

They are just following what they feel called to do. Moving through life in their own beautiful way. And they are your greatest teacher in how to do the same.

If You Feel the Calling

If this is resonating with you, and something in you is saying yes, whether it's a quiet knowing or a full body sense of this is for me, I want to invite you to trust that.

The calling won't leave you alone because it's your intuition telling you this is a next step. Keep going. Lean in this direction.

Whether you've never explored this before, whether you've explored it and felt like nothing came through, or whether you're already receiving messages and just want to go deeper in a supported group space, if you feel the calling, it is for you.

To start exploring straight away, I've created a free guided audio experience called Connection & Curiosity: A Guided Experience With Your Horse. It's a gentle, open invitation to take out to your horse and follow wherever it leads. No technique, no expectation, just you and your horse and whatever wants to unfold between you.
