Learn exactly how to help your horse feel more confident and relaxed...and elevate your self-trust so you both feel safe, prepared and connected in any environment.
The Field is a 12-week practical + intuitive horsemanship mentorship experience for compassionate equestrians who want grounded tools, emotional support and a clear plan to help both themselves and their horses feel calmer, more confident and deeply understood.
If your horse feels spooky, shut down, reactive, inconsistent, tense or easily overwhelmedâŚ
If you feel nervous, unsure, stuck or like youâre missing piecesâŚ
Or if you simply feel called to deepen your relationship and set both of you up for successâŚ
You and your horse are in the right place.
The Field gives you step-by-step guidance, personalised coaching and a supportive community to move forward - together.
You're in the right place if:
â You have a really sensitive horse, and you would love to be able to help them feel more relaxed in different environments
â Your horse is quite unresponsive and shut down, and you want to help them open up and feel comfortable again
â You've done the courses, tried the methods and had the lessons - and you're ready for the layer that goes deeper than technique
â You want to enjoy groundwork and riding again, without freezing, overthinking or second-guessing yourself
â Your horse struggles in new or unpredictable environments, and you want to feel confident supporting them anywhere
â You're tired of guessing and want a clear, compassionate, step-by-step plan that actually works
â You want to feel safe, confident and connected with your horse in any environment
â You sense that what's happening inside you may be connected to what's happening with your horse - and you're ready to explore that
If one or ALL of these resonate with you...
The Field was made for you.
âOver the three decades Iâve had horses, Iâve read probably hundreds of training books, attended lots of clinics, and taken a ton of online classes, but no trainer or technique has made me feel as comfortable as this one.
Iâm not sure I can express how peaceful it is to stand next to a horse that is simply in the moment. So if you see me standing around doing nothing while my horse stands around doing nothing, know that I am exactly where I want to be.â
- Gail
This is what changed when they found the missing piece.
"The biggest change was Ross (4 yrs old) standing at the gate to do fun stuff and coming to me when on the grass instead of running away."
"I can trailer load Pippy and Phalco with just pointing to the entrance, all alone. Phalco used to stand totally shut down for 1 to 2 hours in front of the thing not moving anything in his whole body."
"My (relationship) bank account is like exploding haha. I go out trail riding with Pippy and she doesnât even want to return home because she enjoys it so much."
"I have progressed much more than I ever even thought was possible. And importantly, this change in me is making the world of a difference in them and my partner."
Carola, from the Netherlands
"Omg he goes forward without any issues now. At this new place I nudge or just cluck and he goes into trot!"
"We went on our first real hack today and 6 months ago I would have been terrified because of the mixed terrain and I had absolutely zero fear today.
King was such a champion and while the other horses had a few spooks here and there he didnât spook at all!!"Â
Natalia, from the US
"Moose and I are able to enjoy peaceful moments together. He is less reactive, less stressed, I can brush him all over and he doesn't react like he used to. I look forward to seeing him now."
"We did it, Moose and I took our first real trail ride this summer and it was relaxed, happy, less than perfect but perfect because of that!
He was so calm and I was able to drop into my body and connect with him (sort of felt like in Avatar when they connect their braids to their animal). It was weird for both of us at first but I could tell it felt good for both of us. Yayay!! Â
Thank you for everything you've taught me and all of the encouragement. He and I have come so far and I'm very grateful."
Kaleigh, from the US
Here's the problem
Most compassionate equestrians arenât missing willingness or love⌠theyâre missing a clear, grounded way to support their horseâs emotions and their own confidence levels.
Youâve never been shown how to help a horse through spookiness, tension, shutdown or overwhelm - in the moment or proactively - in a way that feels clear, compassionate and safe.
Right now, you may be experiencing:
⢠A spooky, anxious, closed off or unpredictable horse
⢠Feeling unsure how to support them in real-time
⢠Fear after a fall, scare or negative experience
⢠Pressure to âpush throughâ even when it doesnât feel right
⢠Overwhelm from trying different methods that donât stick
⢠A lack of confidence in your leadership
⢠Confusion from mixed messages online
⢠Feeling âlostâ or unsure where to start
And even though you try your bestâŚ
You still worry youâre doing something wrong... or that youâre letting your horse down.
But itâs not you.
Youâve simply never been taught a holistic, compassionate, emotionally aware approach that works for both horse and human.
Thatâs exactly what The Field gives you.
Through The Field, you will:
Â
â Â Know exactly how to help your sensitive, spooky or shut-down horse feel more confident and relaxed
So you can support them with presence, clarity and confidence in real-life situations.
â Learn how to support your horse during reactive moments and build the confidence and relaxation that prevents those moments from happening in the first place
This means you can help them settle, soften and feel safe again - without excess pressure.
â Rebuild your own confidence on the ground and under saddle
With clear, structured guidance and personalised support every step of the way.
â Do the inner work that makes everything else actually land
The fear, the perfectionism, the patterns you carry into the paddock without realising - this is where they unwind.
â Strengthen trust through calm, compassionate communication
So your horse understands you...and you understand them.
â Let go of overwhelm and constant second-guessing
As you follow a step-by-step plan designed specifically for you and your horse.
â Feel calm, capable and connected - no matter where youâre starting from
Whether you're rebuilding after fear, returning after time off, or simply ready for the layer that goes deeper than anything you've tried before.

The Plan
Five modules. Each one building on the last - with space for intuitive flow. Practical horsemanship woven together with the inner work that makes it all possible.Â
Module 1: Calibrating Your Field
Learn how your horseâs brain and nervous system work, how to recognise early signs of tension, and how to support them before things escalate. Youâll also explore your own internal environment and discover how your energy, emotions and patterns influence your horse.
Explore:
â Reading your horseâs emotional cues
â Nervous system regulation (yours + theirs)
â Creating emotional and physical safety
â Supporting reactive moments with clarity
â Building the relaxation that prevents reactivity
This module sets you both up to feel calmer, safer and more connected.
Module 2:Â The Principles
Strengthen your relationship by understanding how horses learn and how to teach behaviours in ways that feel ethical, clear and motivating. Youâll refine your communication, incorporate food rewards in a balanced way (that aligns with you), and build confidence through gentle exposure training.
Explore:
â The horseâhuman relationship
â Motivation + shaping
â Refining communication (with lightness + clarity)
â Introducing exposure training gently
â A simple problem-solving framework
These principles make training clearer, easier and more enjoyable for both of you.
Module 3:Â Lessons In The Field
This is where everything comes alive through four key learning phases. Youâll implement what youâre learning with your horse and build skills that create real-world confidence.
Connection
Youâll explore connection-based groundwork exercises that help sensitive horses relax, shut-down horses open up, and confident horses soften even further. Youâll also experience what it feels like to drop even more deeply into your own body.
Positive Reinforcement Tools
From there, youâll explore different ways of working with food rewards and how to weave them into your training in a way that feels good for both you and your horse. And if you have a very food-motivated horse or any hesitations about using food rewards - donât worry, Iâve got you covered too.
Groundwork
Next, youâll teach your horse foundational groundwork patterns that will refine your communication and allow you to feel more in sync together. These exercises set horses of any age up for success from the ground up - and theyâll support you to take your riding to the next level (whether you ride now or choose to in the future).
Exposure Training
And lastly, youâll empower both yourself and your horse through consent-based exposure training that honours each of your emotions. Youâll gently introduce your horse to new things approaching them, touching them, moving around them, and making noise - first on the ground and then under saddle (if or when you ride). Youâll learn how to relax through moments of tension and systematically increase environmental pressure over time, setting you both up for success with anything, in any environment.
By the end of this module, your horse will feel more confident, more relaxed, and easier to support - at home AND away from home.
Module 4:Â Inner Alchemy
This module supports your inner world - the part of horsemanship that shapes everything. Youâll gently work through fear, avoidance, perfectionism and the emotional patterns that hold you back, so you can return to clarity, confidence and compassion.
Explore:
â Fear + avoidance
â Compassionate horsemanship overwhelm
â Perfection vs. imperfection
â Navigating transition and change
â Returning to your body + truth
This is where you rebuild self-trust and step into grounded partnership.
Module 5: Playing In The Field
A space to integrate your growth, reconnect with joy and expand whatâs possible for you and your horse. This is where you come to honour your alignment, celebrate your progress and hold the highest vision for your partnership.
Explore:
â Alignment + joy
â Motivation + momentum
â Gratitude + possibility
â Celebrating growth
â The ripple effect of your journey
This module is your reminder that horsemanship can feel expansive, empowering and deeply rewarding.
Hereâs what becomes possible when you and your horse both feel safe, confident and empowered.
âHoly wow. The session I had today was absolutely magical. I felt an overwhelming connection with him and then I was deeply moved to forgiveness. Just a few weeks ago I was thinking I should sell my horse because we hadnât made any progress in the last twelve months. Everything feels different now.â
- Emma, from Canada
âIâve been doing horsemanship methods for almost 6 years but just having the space to refine and really get a why to what Iâm doing makes so many things just click. It gives me that confidence of âI know what Iâm doingâ and if I donât I actually have the tools to figure it out along the way.â
- Tracey, from Australia
âI went in wanting to increase my toolkit to help a really cold backed young mare of mine, but the benefits to all my horses is almost unbelievable. This is not just a course for people who donât feel confident around their horses - itâs a course for absolutely anyone who wants to set themselves up with a skill set that will last for life.â
- Sarah, from Australia

Meet Your Mentor
Hi, I'm Felicity :) I created The Field for one simple reason: I know how it feels to be you.Â
I know how it feels to love your horse but know deep down that you both aren't happy - I was once a struggling rider with big dreams, a nervous horse, inconsistent rides, zero groundwork abilities and no clear strategy to help either of us feel more confident and relaxed.
Iâd been around horses for years, but I quickly learned a massive lesson: you can have all the lessons in the world... but unless you know how to set yourself and your horse up for success from the ground up, itâs very difficult to have the happy, consistent, and trusting relationship you both deserve.
So I set off on a mission to learn everything I could about this in an effort to transform my relationship with my horses...
In my search to master this, I was able to cultivate incredible connections with my horses, consistently support sensitive horses to feel more relaxed, help shut down horses open up and elevate confidence levels - all within a short period of time.
People kept asking how they could experience the same transformations with their own horses... so I put together a program to teach my signature methodology in a grounded, compassionate, intuitive way. Over the past six years that's grown into something that has reached more than 1,200 horses and humans around the world - and evolved into The Field.
The Field is an incredible mentorship experience designed to give you the practical skills, the understanding, and the deeper support you need at every stage of your compassionate horsemanship journey.
See you in there,
Felicity x
